Refund & Exchange Policy

No Refunds or Exchanges

Contractor Exam Preparation does not offer refunds or exchanges on any course except in extreme cases where the course must be cancelled or there is some other significant failure on the part of Contractor Exam Preparation, LLC. The determination of what constitutes a "significant failure" is at the sole discretion of Contractor Exam Preparation, LLC.

Important: We strongly encourage you to confirm your choice of course, course date, and location before placing your order.

Rescheduling Due to Extreme Circumstances

If you are unable to attend a course for which you've paid due to extreme circumstances, you must contact our offices at least one day before your scheduled class begins.

If seating allows, we will endeavor to accommodate you by rescheduling you to another class. This accommodation is at the sole discretion of Contractor Exam Preparation, LLC. No refund will be issued; your course fee will be credited toward an alternative class date.

Company Refund Remedy

The only remedy we offer for course cancellations or unavoidable circumstances is the opportunity to take another class at no additional charge. We do not issue monetary refunds.

No Refund for Refusal of Entrance

Contractor Exam Preparation reserves the right to refuse entrance to any student for any reason. If a student is refused entrance, the total remedy will be a refund of the course fee. No other compensation will be provided.

Inclement Weather & Class Cancellation

School System Guidelines

Since our classes are held in Fairfax County, Virginia and Glen Allen, Virginia, we endeavor to hold our classes according to what the respective school system dictates regarding inclement weather. However, for the convenience of our students and other factors, we can hold classes even if the jurisdiction's school system is closed. Each decision is made on a case-by-case basis.

Confirming Class Status

If inclement weather is forecast, please contact our offices to confirm whether your class will be held:

CEP Not Responsible for Exam/Licensing Issues

If a class is cancelled or postponed, Contractor Exam Preparation cannot be held responsible for any difficulties or problems that may arise regarding scheduling/taking the exam and/or obtaining a license through the state. The only remedy that Contractor Exam Preparation offers is that the student may take another class at no additional charge.

Note: You are responsible for managing your state exam scheduling and licensing timeline. CEP's class cancellation or postponement does not extend your state deadlines or exam scheduling windows.
